STAR LAKE -- A Boney Benefit for Niko with a several events planned will be held Oct. 28. A kids Halloween party will be held from 2-4 p.m., an all-you-can-eat chili dinner from 4-6 p.m., and an adult Halloween dance will start at 9.
All activities held at the Star Lake American Legion will benefit 3-year-old Nikolai McKenzie, who suffers from a hereditary bone disease.
He will be having surgery in November.
The benefit is to help cover the cost of his travel to Florida for surgery and recovery.
