NORWOOD -- The Hale Cemetery Association recently held their annual spring meeting and elected new officers.
New officers include Tom Woodward, president and treasurer; John Margittay, vice president and superintendent; Daryl Martin, superintendent; Cathy Fayette, secretary.
Other cemetery board members include Robert and Norma Burns, Dick Castle, Ashley Chapin, Jean Dyke, Frank Paige, and Ron Sanborn.
The board is working to update cemetery records to ensure assigned plots (used and unused) are on record. Anyone owning plots at the cemetery or who has knowledge of the whereabouts of relatives of those buried at the Hale Cemetery is asked to send information to The Hale Cemetery Association, PO Box 62, Norwood, NY 13668.
Anyone interested in purchasing lots may contact John Margittay at the same address.
Donations to the maintenance fund also are welcome. Please note that all annual meetings are open to the public.
