CANTON -- A spokesman from Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office says the governor will not be in SUNY Canton Wednesday to sign legislation.
WWNY-TV and other local media outlets reported the governor was scheduled to be at SUNY Canton at 10:30 a.m. where he was expected to sign legislation creating tax-free zones as part of his START-UP NY initiative.
Sources who wished to remain anonymous said the meeting was to be rescheduled for next week, but a spokesman from the governor's office would not confirm whether a meeting had been planned or would be planned in the future.
"All I can tell you is that the governor will not be in Canton tomorrow," the spokesman said.
