GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur woman was arrested for allegedly punching and kicking another woman and dragging her across the parking lot by her hair in front of a child at McDonald’s, 118 East Main St., according to Gouverneur police.
Erica B. Jackson, 23, Gouverneur, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree attempted assault, endangering welfare of a child, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The arrest took place Sunday, June 26, at 11:05 a.m. at the Gouverneur Police Department.
Jackson is alleged to have engaged in a physical fight with the victim, in front of the victim’s child.
She allegedly punched the victim multiple times in the face, pulled the victim to the pavement by her hair, kicked the victim in the head and dragged her across the parking lot by her hair, breaking the victim’s glasses.
Jackson was released with appearance tickets returnable to Gouverneur Town Court.
