GOUVERNEUR – Pickup of brush debris from the ice storm is expected to begin in about a week and a half, and the village superintendent of public works is asking residents not to pile brush between the street and the sidewalk.
Doing so will impede snow plowing efficiency, according to Superintendent of Public Works Michael Moroz III.
“Please pile your brush on the side of the sidewalk that is closest to your house,” Moroz requests.
Ice storm brush pickup is anticipated to begin Jan. 6, weather permitting.
