GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur teen has won a gold medal in skating at the Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid.
Jaelynn Stowell, Gouverneur, recently competed in the Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid. Stowell received a gold medal in the High Beginner Test Track competition.
Stowell is the daughter of Scott and Lisa Stowell, Gouverneur.
She skates for the St Lawrence Figure Skating Club, Canton and is coached by Tara Bartlett.
