Gouverneur native Janeen Streeter is the subject of an interview series for Mountain Lake PBS-tv about her path to becoming a music teacher.
Streeter, from a musical family, teaches music at Bloomingdale Elementary School near Saranac Lake.
Her parents were both educators in the Gouverneur Central Schools.
The three-part series of videos on YouTube focuses on Streeter’s background and how it influenced her to become an engaging teacher and positive member of the community.
