MASSENA -- Gouverneur Mayor Ronald McDougall has been chosen as president of the St. Lawrence County Conference of Mayors for 2015.
Heuvelton Mayor Barbara Lashua was elected vice-president.
Potsdam Mayor Steve Yurgartis was chosen as treasurer.
The initial meeting of 2015 was held in Massena and hosted by Mayor Tim Currier. A presentation was made by the of Development Authority of the North Country Executive Director James Wright.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 21 in Norwood, hosted by Mayor James McFaddin.
