The state Department of Environmental Conservation says several defendants recently paid fines for conservation law violations.

Below is each defendant’s name, street address, hometown, age, date of offense, location of offense, specific charge(s), date of plea and total in fines, fees and surcharges:

• Shawn E. Storie, Cream of the Valley Road, Gouverneur, 54, Oct. 13, Gouverneur, illegal possession of protected wildlife, Nov. 8, $52.50

• Ethan B. Brothers, East Hatfield Street, Massena, 19, Sept. 2, Fine, take waterfowl other than during open season, Sept. 22, $175
