GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur man was jailed Wednesday after allegedly striking a female and throwing a one-year old child into a crib during a domestic dispute on Vanburen Road, according to state police.
Timothy R. Fadden, 18, was charged with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment
A 23-year old female victim at that residence stated that Fadden punched her in the leg and in the arm during an argument, officers said.
The victim alleges that Fadden threw her one-year old female child into her crib in a rough manner.
Fadden reportedly prevented the victim from leaving the residence or calling police or family for help.
He was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
