Nic J. DeVito, 21, of 25 Sterling St., allegedly entered the home of an ex-girlfriend early this morning and assaulted two males. Deputies said one of the males suffered an orbital fracture, which involves damage to the eye socket.
DeVito left the residence on County Route 12, also known as the Johnstown Road, before deputies arrived, but he was located a short time later.
He was charged with first degree assault, a Class B felony; assault second degree, a Class D felony; assault third degree, a Class A misdemeanor; and criminal obstruction of breathing, a Class A Misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in Fowler Town Court and order held at St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
Orders of protection were issued to the victims in the incident, deputies said.
