Gouverneur man jailed for alleged sale of morphine, clonazepam, hydrocodone

GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man was jailed on numerous drug charges following a state police investigation Tuesday.

Alan F. June, 61, Gouverneur, charged with, criminal sale of a controlled substance third-degree, criminal sale of a controlled substance forth-degree, criminal sale of a controlled substance fifth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance third-degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance fifth degree.

All charges stem from June's involvement in the selling of morphine, clonazepam, and hydrocodone pills.

St. Lawrence County Court following Grand Jury indictments issued the warrant. The indictments resulted from a multi-agency investigation involving the State Police, the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, and the Gouverneur Police Department.

St. Lawrence County Court was not available for arraignment at the time of June's arrest. June was turned over to the custody of the Sheriff at the St. Lawrence County Jail. June's arraignment is to be scheduled for a future date in St. Lawrence County Court.
