GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man was arrested Monday on burglary charges after the public identified him through a photo posted on Facebook, according to state police.
Brett M. McIntosh, 22, was charged with third-degree burglary, felony, stemming from a burglary in the early morning on March 22 at Perry’s Place Redemption Center, 7211 State Route 68 in Ogdensburg, troopers said.
McIntosh allegedly picked a lock on the rear end of the building and proceeded to steal multiple cartons of cigarettes, chewing tobacco and over $200 in cash from inside the business.
He was arraigned in Owegatchie Town Court and released under the supervision of probation to reappear in court on May 21.
