GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man was charged with a felony Nov. 8 following an aggravated harassment complaint first reported to state police Aug. 8, according to state police.
State police said NYS DOCCS at Gouverneur Correctional reported that an inmate, Elijah McCormick, threw urine on a correctional officer.
McCormick, 28, was charged with aggravated harassment: employee by inmate at 10:28 a.m., police said.
The arrest took place at 1103 U.S. Highway 11, officers said.
He was arraigned at Gouverneur Town Court and remanded back to the custody of DOCCS, troopers said.
