GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur resident has been charged with third-degree rape and other counts regarding an incident with a female under 17.
Kody A. Parris, 24, three counts on the rape charge, three counts of third-degree criminal sex act, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Parris is alleged to have had sexual intercourse and deviant sexual contact with a female less than 17 years of age on three occasions between July 2014 to April 2015, police said.
Parris was arraigned before Justice Stan Young at the Town of Gouverneur Court and ordered held $500 cash bail.
