EDWARDS -- The Health Initiative’s Creating Healthy Places project congratulates the three after school programs currently making healthy changes to their after school environment.
Gouverneur, Hermon-DeKalb, and Edwards-Knox Central Schools each received $1,000 worth of active play items to support practice and policy changes to make their after school environment healthier.
Grant funding is currently available to support healthful changes in structured summer recreation programs.
