GOUVERNEUR -- The Gouverneur High School Class of 1968 held a reunion weekend July 27-28.
A meet-and-greet on Friday was the start of a the weekend that included tours of the high school and Gouverneur Museum.
The dinner and dance at the Gouverneur Community Center welcomed 90 classmates and their guests, out of 172 original graduates.
During the remarks, 25 classmates who had served in the military were recognized and 28 deceased classmates were acknowledged.
The reunion committee included Carol Bennett Adler, Mary Helen Ptak, Lea Dickson, Marilyn Conklin LaPierre, Kathy Tremlett Eggleston and Karen Saidel Keenan.
