BLACK LAKE -- A Gouverneur angler was half of the first place team at the Northern New York Bassmasters third tournament of the season on Black Lake July 2.
Ed Moore of Gouverneur and Doug Kirkbride of Beaver River led the tournament with 19.12 lbs. turned in.
Second place was Richard Falcon and Cass Falcon of Evans Mills with 16.12 lbs., third place Brad Paradis and Robert Paradis of Ogdensburg with 15.01 lbs. and fourth place Todd Kimble and Patterson of Ogdensburg with 14.82 lbs.
The top five points leaders of the season are Paradis and Paradis 593, Kirkbride and Moore 587, Capella and Spellicy 581, O’Grady and Garrbrant 581 and Sharpe and Gonyea 575.
Their next tournament is on the St. Lawrence River in Waddington July 16 with a 3 p.m. weigh-in.
