POTSDAM -- Potsdam residents may have noticed “giving trees” springing up in local businesses recently.
Those wishing to participate in the annual Potsdam Holiday Fund campaign can take a tag from one of the giving trees, purchase a gift appropriate for the listed child’s age and gender, fill out the tag with a description of the present, and return it to the tree.
Participating businesses are Garner Funeral Home, Harris Medical, Scoopacinnos, St. Mary’s Church, Pizza Hut, Trinity Episcopal Church, Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Price Chopper, University Bookstore, Village Diner, Willow Tree Florist, Adirondack Audiology, Adirondack Credit Union, Ebens Hearth, Kinney Drugs, United Methodist Church, Sugar Shack, W.
