LISBON -- 13-year-old Elizabeth “Lizzy” Norton has donated 60 fire department patches to the Lisbon Fire Department.
Lizzy has been collecting the patches and other firefighting memorabilia throughout New England and the Boston area for the past six years.
Lizzy is a native of Lisbon who is living in Boston due to health concerns.
According to her mother, Cathy Norton, Lizzy has wanted to be a firefighter since she was two years old.
Lizzy presented the patches to Fire Chief John McLear and President Mike Light during the department’s January fire meeting.
