GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur man was arrested for allegedly taking a Freightliner truck and a Chevrolet car for scrap metal on Sept. 13 and failed to pay the owner, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies.

Heath W. Cushman, 45, 1750 State Hwy. 58, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, said deputies.

Police said Cushman was arrested at 230 Quarry Rd.
