An upper trough is expected to bring showers through the North Country Tuesday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

A high pressure system is expected to move through the area Wednesday, followed by a cold front Wednesday evening, bringing more showers, the service says.

The chance of rain tonight is 40 percent, followed by a 30 percent change of afternoon showers Wednesday, the service says.

Cooler “fall like” temperatures are likely Thursday and Friday, the service says.
