Gardeners needed for 2014 Master Gardener Volunteer training

CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension is recruiting gardeners for 2014 Master Gardener Volunteer training.

Master Gardener Volunteers get in-depth, hands-on training in all aspects of horticulture including plant biology, soil science and pest management. They then shareGus (the dog), Jane Portolese, and Carol Budd. In back: Ken Kogut, Paul Hetzler, Loni Recker, Pam Mahoney, Lauren Olson, and Bill GrangerGus (the dog), Jane Portolese, and Carol Budd. CCE will hold Master Gardener Volunteer training on Tuesdays throughout the fall on Tuesdays from Sept. 9 to Nov. 18.
