CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension is recruiting gardeners for 2014 Master Gardener Volunteer training.
Master Gardener Volunteers get in-depth, hands-on training in all aspects of horticulture including plant biology, soil science and pest management. They then share this knowledge with area residents through garden demonstrations, lectures, school and community initiatives and projects of their own design.
CCE will hold Master Gardener Volunteer training on Tuesdays throughout the fall on Tuesdays from Sept. 9 to Nov. 18.
Anyone interested in learning more the program is invited to call Kristin Colarusso or Paul Hetzler at 379-9192
