Garden Share is hosting a photo contest, with the winning photo to be featured on the cover of the 2014 edition of the Local Food Guide.
The theme for the contest is “How Does Local Food Improve Your Life?”
Any St. Lawrence County resident is eligible to enter the contest, regardless of age, with no limit to the number of entries.
Photos can be of produce, dishes created with local goods, people, landscape, animals, or anything else that embodies the theme.
The guide is produced by GardenShare annually and includes information on farmers' markets, farm stands, “U-pick” orchards and restaurants, grocers and other outlets that offer food produced in St. Lawrence County.
The guide is distributed throughout St. Lawrence County to businesses, organizations and to individuals.
Submissions can be made to laura@gardenshare.org by Aug. 31.
