AKWESASNE -- Funeral services are set for an Akwesasne man that was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning.
Eli P. “Junior” Thompson Aronkienes, 21, died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident Sept. 20, according to an obituary sent to NorthCountryNow.com.
He leaves behind a one-year-old child, his girlfriend and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Mohawk Nation Longhouse.
