POTSDAM -- A GoFundMe site to raise funds to help a Potsdam family who lost their home in a Tuesday fire has already exceeded its goal.
The Eric and Steph Matott lost their home at the site of the Northern Family Motel on state Route 56.
The page, which sought to raise $2,500 to help the family get back on their feet, raised more than $3,000 as of early Tuesday evening.
