MASSENA – A Ft. Covington man has been accused of several felonies and misdemeanors and multiple infractions following an apparent chase of his vehicle by state police.
Eric J. Sisto, 21, has been charged with two felony counts of first degree reckless endangerment, and one count each of the misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of child, reckless driving, and fleeing an officer in motor vehicle, and the infractions of failure to keep right, unsafe passing on the left, failing to stop at a stop sign (three counts), speeding: exceeding 55 mph (three counts), speeding in zone (four counts), and driving while using a mobile phone, all in the Town of Massena; and one count of felony third-degree criminal mischief, for alleged vandalism along Cook Road on the St. Regis Reservation.
The incidents occurred shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday, according to sate police.
