The National Weather Service Burlington office has issued a frost advisory for the northern Adirondacks from 2 to 8 a.m. Friday with the lowest temperatures expected to occur around sunrise this morning.
Temperatures in the area are expected to be in the upper 20s to mid 30s, with the lowest readings predicted to be in the deeper valleys in southern St. Lawrence County including aeas around Cranberry Lake and Star Lake.
The advisory warns that sensitve plants left uncovered could be killed by the cold.
