NORWOOD -- The Friends of the Norwood Public Library have added a parenting and home school section category in their “Friendly Library Book Store.”
These include books on pregnancy, parenting, bedtime stories, fairy tales and educational materials.
The Friends have started collecting books to distribute at the Veterans Hospital in Syracuse. They recently donated four boxes of books to patients and families.
Donations of books in good condition are always welcome. The store is open during all library hours.
The friends will host a membership drive in the fall, but new members and ideas are welcome any time of the year.
The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m.
