SOUTH COLTON -- The Friends of Hepburn Library of Colton recently purchased and donated 65 books for the Higley Trails Lodge at Higley Flow State Park.
The friends commissioned Fred Peryer to create a bookshelf from local cherry wood to display the books. Each book contains a custom designed "Friends of Hepburn Library of Colton" bookplate.
Books include trail guides, camping cook books, resource books, nature story books and camping related adult and children's non-fiction books. Books do must stay in the lodge.
