MASSENA – A free Medicare workshop will be held Tuesday, June 21 at the Community Center, 61 Beach St. at 10 a.m.
The workshop will be to explain to new and current Medicare beneficiaries how the program works and the options available.
The overview, called "Medicare Made Clear," will examine the coverage differences between Part A, Part B and Prescription Part D, as well as Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans.
It will also look at EPIC, Extra Help and the Medicare Savings Program, which provide those who qualify with additional financial assistance to cover prescription drugs and Part B premiums.
Kelly J. Buell, of United Healthcare Medicare & Retirement, will present the overview and will also be available for questions.
Call Kelly at 518-358-2974 for more information.
