HANNAWA FALLS -- Helping Hands, located at 5868 State Route 56, Hannawa Falls, has a large supply of free furniture including beds, chairs, tables, lamps and other items needed to furnish a home. Furniture is available to any St. Lawrence County resident in need.
The free furniture program is made possible through the volunteer efforts of volunteers Dave Smith and Glenn Clark who use their time, pick up trucks, and gasoline to help us help others who need a little extra help to take care of the basic necessities of life, an email from Helping Hands said.
Helping Hands is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. and there is a free lunch program at noon Monday through Thursday. For more information call Tom at 268-0633.
