HERMON – The St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau's Young Farmers group is hosting a free Day At The Farm event Sept. 30, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Gebarten Acres, 393 E. DeKalb Rd.
Guided farm tours, interactive farm stations, crafts, wagon rides, and other activities are planned. Attendees will have the opportunity to see how a dairy farm works.
The event moves to a new farm each year, so it is a new experience every time.
Stations set up throughout the farm will highlight different aspects of farming, including milking, calves, nutrition and waste management.
