OGDENSBURG -- Fred’s Wild West BBQ & Festival will be held Sunday, July 23, at the Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St.
Organizers say this year’s event will be “bigger and better.” The street will be blocked off and the museum is partnering with the Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library and the Odgensburg Junior Garden Club to offer music and activities for all ages, including a petting zoo.
The museum will be open extended hours for the event, opening early at 11 a.m.
The Wild West BBQ will be catered by Parker Piercey, of PCP BBQ.
Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for kids younger than 13.
Each ticket purchase includes the meal, non-alchoholic beverage, live entertainment and museum admission.
The menu includes pulled pork, chicken, salt potatoes, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, watermelon and assorted Lipton Teas.
Meals can be eaten on site, or as take-out.
This event is sponsored by Lipton Tea.
All proceeds benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum.
