CANTON -- GardenShare received a $1,000 grant from Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement to support the 2018 St. Lawrence County Local Food Guide.
This guide promotes local producers free to the public along with other information about our local food system. The guide will come out in June 2018.
GardenShare is collecting information from farms, farmers markets and businesses wanting to advertise. Those interested in listing, advertising or receiving a copy can email info@gardenshare.org. In addition, GardenShare is running a cover art contest for the cover of the Local Food Guide.
Considered artwork can include photography or any two-dimensional piece that can be re-printed. Artwork should illustrate the variety of local food available in the region. To enter, send a high-resolution file to info@gardenshare.org by April 4.
