CANTON -- Fourth graders from St. Mary’s School in Canton enjoyed a field trip to The TAUNY Center recently to see two exhibits, “The Amish: Our North Country Neighbors” and “On the Letterboxing Trail.”

Students learned about Amish culture and traditions from TAUNY folklorist Hannah Harvester and even tracked down a letterbox hidden in the exhibit.

To learn more about TAUNY and the current exhibits, visit www.TAUNY.org.

Located at 53 Main Street in Canton, The TAUNY Center is open Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is plenty of parking and a well-marked entrance from the municipal lot behind the Center.
