CANTON -- The fourth grade students at St. Mary's School researched historical figures from the 1800s using biographies and primary source documents which included photographs, letters, speeches and journal entries.

The students wrote persuasive speeches from the perspective of their chosen historical figures.

The students presented their speeches in costume to a group of parents, faculty and peers.
