POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence County residents face drug charges following a raid of a residence on State Highway 11B on Sunday, according to Potsdam police.
• Crystal D. Hamilton, 39, Potsdam, was charged at 2:32 p.m. with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia: Scales at 2:32 p.m. She was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail due to a probation bench warrant, officers said.
• Brian M. Gates, 20, Potsdam, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia at 12:03 p.m.
• Ronald L. Gravel, 37, Winthrop, was cited for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia at 6:31 p.m., police said.
Gravel and Gates were all cited and released.
Police allegedly found a quantity of marijuana, digital scales and a small amount of cocaine inside the residence.
Potsdam police were assisted by sheriff’s and state police during the arrest.
