POTSDAM -- Potsdam Elks #2074 members Tim Welpe and Bill LaPoint and Canton-Potsdam Hospital volunteers Doris LaPoint and Eileen Horton have been honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
Each has been recognized with a lifetime award for committing over 4,000 hours of community volunteer service.
In recognition of their accomplishments, each received a service pin, a letter from President Obama, and recognition certificate.
