OGDENSBURG -- A home raid and traffic stop that followed drug investigations in the city resulted in felony charges against four people. Police say the cases also lead to them seizing drugs, cash and a gun.

Kelli M. Barr, 24, of 622 Ford St. is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and single counts of fourth-degree conspiracy and first-degree criminal nuisance, all felonies, police said.

Jennifer R.A. Austin, 32, same address, is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and one count of fourth-degree conspiracy, police said.

Jaquon Smith, 27, of 2064 Caeser Place, Bronx, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and one count of fourth-degree conspiracy, along with a misdemeanour count of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Ogdensburg Police with a search warrant raided 622 Ford St. at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday. They found and charged the three above-mentioned suspects and seized crack cocaine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, one long gun and an undisclosed sum of U.S. currency. The raid stemmed from an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.

All three were held pending arraignment in Ogdensburg City Court, police said.

During the early morning hours on Wednesday, police say they stopped a vehicle and arrested a second Bronx man.

Juan Rosales, 30, of 1181 East Tremont St., Bronx, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree conspiracy, making a false written statement and second-degree criminal impersonation, police said. The latter two charges are misdemeanors. Police said the charges stem from an ongoing drug case.

Rosales was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond, police said.

Ogdensburg police say they were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, Gouveneur Police Department, New York State Police and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations Unit.
