FORT COVINGTON – A Fort Covington man faces several felony counts after his arrest for criminal weapons sales.
Rockne R. Cox, 29, was arrested June 7 and charged with three counts of third degree criminal sale of a weapon and one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after what state police said was a lengthy investigation by their Troop B Gun Investigation Unit, the Franklin County Drug Task Force and the Franklin County District Attorney's Office.
The investigation involved the sale of three unlawfully possessed handguns in the town of Fort Covington over the past year, according to police.
Cox was arraigned before Franklin County Court Judge Robert G. Main Jr. and was remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
