 RUSSELL -- The color guard of the Forsyth’s Rifles laid a wreath adjacent to the Russell Arsenal yesterday as part of the Russell Arsenal Heritage Weekend.

The weekend featured period demonstrations to celebrate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

Forsyth’s rifles had period camps at the Russell Attwater farm. Demonstrations of 19th century music, cooking, midwifery, tinsmithing or blacksmithing were held
