OGDENSBURG -- Members of local re-enactment units Forsyth's Rifles and 1st US Light Artillery presented a 21-gun salute for Jim Hough following his funeral mass Saturday, May 10.
Hough, who passed away at age 66, was a member of the artillery and an active friend of the Fort La Présentation Association. He maintained the fort association property on Van Rensselaer Point in Ogdensburg and at Founder's Weekend in July kept active looking after the needs of re-enactors.
The family has suggested donations in Jim's name be made to the Fort La Présentation Association, Box 1749, Ogdensburg, N.Y., 13669.
