Virginia M. (French) Galligan and Terri L. French, both formerly of Lisbon, have published a children's book entitled "Ralphie and the Quilt," a heartwarming story about a little boy who uses the quilt his grandmother made him as a superhero cape.
When the cape gets torn, Ralphie must tell his grandmother. How will she react? Can Ralphie make things right?
Virginia is a 1997 graduate of Lisbon Central School and Terri is a 2005 graduate.
Virginia has a B.A. in English Literature and a M.S. in General Human Service. This is Virginia's third publication. Previously, she has published a collection of poetry entitled The Pen Remembers and a novella entitled Answer Me, Why?
She currently resides in Massena with her husband and daughter.
Terri L. French resides in Lyons, Ga., with her fiancee and provided the illustrations for "Ralphie and the Quilt."
She is working on her own children's book as well as her debut novel.
