CANTON – A Canton attorney and former public defender who allegedly threw a water bottle at his girlfriend and struck her while she was holding their one-year-old baby at 8:40 p.m. Monday has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, according to Canton Village Police.
Brian D. Pilatzke, 31, 47 Gouverneur St., was allegedly involved in a verbal argument with his live-in girlfriend when the fight escalated to the point where Pilatzke threw the half-filled bottle at her, striking her in the chest, just missing the child.
He was arraigned in front of Canton Village Justice Storie and released on his own recognizance to reappear in court Jan. 10.
