FINE -- State forest rangers say they discovered the remains of a meth lab and called in state police to investigate.

On May 25, DEC says forest rangers “discovered evidence and debris associated with homemade methamphetamine production at a campsite in Aldrich Pond Wild Forest.”

DEC says state police were called in to process the scene and dispose of the meth lab remnants, which are hazardous materials.

State police did not respond to a request for comment on the investigation.

There is nothing listed on the state police blotter for May 25 that appears to be associated with the incident.
