Forecast: winter weather advisory remains in effect through 7 p.m. in St. Lawrence County; temps in 40s possible for weekend
A winter weather advisory remain in effect through 7 p.m. tonight in St. Lawrence County with a dusting to two inches of additional snowfall expected today, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Many roads in St. Lawrence County are snow-covered creating difficult driving conditions this morning. Caution is urged during the morning commute.Highs today will be in the mid 20s with winds of 10 to 15 miles per hour and gusts up to 20 mph, the service says.
Overnight skies will be cloudy with a low around 13. There is a 30 percent chance of snow with less than a half inch of accumulation possible, NWS says.
Friday will remain seasonal with a high of 25 before possibly warming up into the 40s for Saturday and Sunday.
