Clouds will exit the area this morning and much of the North Country should experience sunshine this afternoon with highs in the 50s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Clear skies are expected tonight, then clouds will be on the increase Wednesday as showers are expected to increase across the area as well throughout the week, NWS says.
Today’s high will be around 56 with sunny skies, the service says.
Overnight lows are expected to be around 42 with light and variable winds becoming south at 5 to 8 mph after midnight.
Showers and win are likely Wednesday, mainly after 5 p.m., NWS says. Overnight lows will be in the mid 40s with winds of 9 to 14 mph and gusts as high as 24 mph.

Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 59. South wind 14 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Showers likely, mainly before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday
A chance of showers between 1pm and 5pm, then rain likely after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 52. Northeast wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
