High pressure will build across St. Lawrence County today with sunny to partly sunny skies and seasonable early spring temperatures, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Highs today are expected to be near 44 with light winds of 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Tonight there is a 40 percent chance of snow after 1 a.m. with a low around 30, NWS says. Less than one inch of snow is possible.
Low pressure will approach and pass south of the area on Friday into Saturday with widespread wet snow, mixed with rain expected, NWS says.
Rain and snow are likely before 2 p.m. Friday, then rain between 2 and 3 p.m. and then rain and snow after 3 p.m. with less than a half inch of accumulation expected. The high Friday will be near 38.
Dry weather returns by Sunday into Monday before additional rain and snow arrives by the middle of next week, the service says.
