Forecast: Summer hangs on with highs in 80s expected in St. Lawrence County through Monday

Beginning Saturday, a large area of high pressure will build over St. Lawrence County, resulting in an extended stretch of warm and dry weather into the middle of next

week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Daytime temperatures will reach into the 80s through Monday with a slight drop off into the mid-70s heading into the end of next week, NWS says.

Highs will be near 80 today with sunny skies, the service says. There will be patchy fog overnight with a low near 57.

Saturday and Sunday will see highs around 82 with overnight lows hovering around 60 each night, NWS says.

The forecast through the middle of next week is as follows:

Sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 58. South wind 3 to 5 mph.

Sunday

Sunny, with a high near 82. South wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable.

Sunday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Calm wind.

Monday

Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind.

Monday Night

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Light south wind.

Tuesday

Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind.
